If we were having coffee, let’s be honest, I would be drinking tea. I would smile at you while you told me about your day, nodding along to each words, listening intently and replying appropriately.
If we were having coffee I would tell you about the amazing Taylor Swift concert I recently went to. How we danced to all her songs and how I could barely see her tiny figure dancing around on stage because I am vertically challenged. I would tell you about how I stood on chairs, on my tippy-toes and craning my neck just to get a glimpse of her and how the big screen was too damn low for a normal sized short person to see.
If we were having coffee I would tell you about my new camera, how I woke up at 6 am the day after bringing her home, yes I decided it was a she and I have yet to name her. I would definitely ask you for some suggestions, something out of a Greek Mythology as she is an Olympus or an Olympian I should say.
If we were having coffee I would ask you whether you have seen my latest project. The 52 week photo challenge where I will be photographing and editing surreal and sometimes normal images and uploading them in this blog. I would ask you for some suggestions and ideas of things you might like to see.
If we were having coffee I would tell you about how I recently finished university and at around the same time, I was given a job offer. How life is exciting and scary all at once. How I wish I had waited a while before applying but at the same time how grateful I am for the opportunities. How life is mad, full of emotions and all I really want to do now is to capture it with a camera, hold the moment in stillness even for a little while. How life is too fluid and unpredictable and how I wish I was 7 again.
If we were having coffee I would tell you how foolish I think hypotheticals are. As fun as they may be, why would I live in “Ifs” where I could live in “whens” so ring me up, send me a letter or a message. When we have coffee, I shall tell you all these things and more.
Wow! Congrats! for finishing your degree. on your job offer. on your new camera. I think you should call it Gaia – a take off from your name, and also because you’ll be taking beautiful pictures with it .
I do like the name Gaia but I was reading Percy Jackson and Gaia is the bad guy, so I now associate that name with bad things hahahaahahah
When we have “coffee” we wont be able to stop talking 😀
Hahahaha so true!!! 😂😂😂
