Bali Bound

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAIf could do anything in this world, I would dedicate my life to documenting my travels and seeing the world. Over the past couple of years, I was unable to travel. Life was weighing me down and I never really gave myself the time that I deserved to see the world. I hope as this year comes to a close, I could travel a little more, even if it’s within my own country.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERABali has been a frequent destination of late. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit this beautiful place last year and here I am again! What I learnt from this visit was to explore, explore and explore! Yes I have been here before, but that does not mean that I have seen it all. This year we stayed at a region that I am not at all familiar with. We stayed at the beautiful Holiday Inn Resort at Tanjung Benoa. This place was a little different to the Bali I was used to. The busy, tourist-packed streets was replaced by relaxed and friendly locals and the usual shopping was replaced by water sports! Needless to say I was in the pool or by the beach 80% of the time. It was also my love’s first time overseas. It gave me such a thrill to see his childlike giddiness over the simple things such as the Indonesian law-less traffic law. I can’t wait to travel and see more places with him. Not only to show him the things that I have experienced and loved but to experience new things with him!OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI am not ready to say goodbye to my own little piece of paradise but alas, life awaits and I yearn for the next adventure! New Zealand perhaps? or something a little closer to home like the beautiful Hunter Valley. Either way adventure awaits you if you know where to look.
